C holds up trashcan lid (or maybe it's a dish cover). RR stops before colliding with it. C drops lid and chases RR, who has come back and holds up lid, which C crashes into.
C throws boomerang, is hit by another boomerang thrown by RR, goes to chase and is hit by own returning boomerang.
C sets up School Crossing sign and imitates schoolgirl, is flattened by non-slowing RR. "Road Runners Can't Read."
C rides giant fireworks rocket. Rocket takes off upward instead of at intended angle, embedding C in cliff above launchpad.
C pulls keystone from under balanced boulder, boulder tilts wrong way and lands on C.
C paints new road midline leading to rock face, paints tunnel. RR runs into tunnel. C prepares to try it, RR comes back out of tunnel and flattens C.
C buries TNT in road, plunges detonator, detonator explodes instead of TNT.
C dons Acme Super Outfit but it does not enable him to fly.
C combines fridge, icemaker, and meatgrinder to create his own ski run, which works until contraption fails while crossing unexpected chasm.
C puts on jet-propelled tennis shoes; narrowly misses RR several times on highway cloverleaf, almost has him and shoes run out of power.
C takes Short Cut, lurks behind billboard with axe; "beep beep" turns out to be bus, with RR as passenger.
