Onreel

0:21 The music under the credits sounds like it should be something, but if this is an identifiable piece, I haven't identified it yet.

0:48 "I got a wife and kids ... millions of kids!" This is probably meant to be a joke on the fecundity of rabbits. Also, Bugs is probably lying.

3:09 "Kilroy was here" was graffiti used by American soldiers during World War II. The running joke was that the inscription supposedly could be found on just about every surface in Europe. The joke here is that the graffiti has even beaten Bugs to the moon.

4:52 Sound cue: The dog's marching theme is "Boy Scout in Switzerland" by Raymond Scott. 2009 performance

5:30 All Bugs picks up on the radio is an advertising jingle. (For "roger" and "wilco" see here.)

Crumbly Crunchies are the best,
Look delicious on your vest.
Serve 'em to unwanted guests,
Stuff the mattress with the rest.

5:38 "Catch the fugitive from the Dog Star." Dog Star (Sirius)

6:25 This music (while they are embracing) sounds like it should be another recognizable cue that I can't recognize.

Offreel

This cartoon is the first to feature Marvin the Martian, who wasn't called Marvin yet (and doesn't have the same voice that Mel Blanc would use for him later). In fact Marvin wasn't named as such until many years after his initial run of Warner cartoons. For a list of all Marvin appearances in the original Warner run, see the Lost and Found.

Marvin's bugle noise is a combination of Mel Blanc's voice and noises made by squeezing air from between one's hands.
