Shrunken Cinema/Termite Terrace/Cue Sheet
From Eccentric Flower
The Cue Sheet
I've compiled this by hand from the individual cartoon pages. It's possible I've missed something. If in doubt, the individual pages are more accurate than this list.
I've tried not to omit even short cues if I felt they added some hidden context/joke to the cartoon; conversely, if there's a vaguely-identifiable cue which contributes no context, just background music, I haven't always worried too much about tracking it down.
One prominent exception to the former rule is the five notes which mean "You're a horse's ass." These occur in many, many cartoons (including the credits of all the Private Snafu cartoons). While a modern viewer may not realize that the notes had a specific meaning once, the fact that they are always used when a character is shown/made to look ridiculous is nonetheless evident. There is one exception - see comments at Elmer's Candid Camera.
This symbol means there's some extra information on that cue on the page in question, or a link to a different performance of it.
This symbol means that in that cartoon someone is actually observed to be singing or performing this cue - although they may not be performing it correctly.
