Idiots and Crooks

I was reading an absolutely stunning essay today in a location I unfortunately cannot disclose, when I encountered this quote, which I believe the author will not mind my repeating:

I can deal with crooks - you appeal to their self-interest - and I can deal with idiots - you appeal to their good nature and make it simple for them. Idiot-crooks, on the other hand, are impossible to deal with because they can't figure out what's good for them.

I'm trying to decide whether to pin this up on my wall.
