     {
          &tired_refrain;
          for ($my{'progress'} = 0;;)
          {
               last;
          }
          $my{'tasks'}++;
          &slave while ($sun_up || $sun_down);
     } until 0;
}

Or, as you and I might say it:


While my work consists of toil or pain
I invoke a tired refrain;
For my progress seems to stop at none,
With my tasks increasing one by one,
So I slave anew from sun to sun,
Until my endless loop is done.
