nineteen march (by half an hour)
strategic regrouping
Okay. I'm over my tantrum, and I've regrouped. I'm still annoyed over porn and erotica, but that's a topic for another site. Let's talk webrings instead.
Nibelung.org is not responding to lookups. However, the site is the same as impudence.com, and I have done what I should have done in the first place - moved Nibelung to a subdirectory under impudence.com. Nibelung was only the first of several planned projects (and none of the others would have Norse names) ... so it makes more sense to have them all under the impudence aegis, each in their own little directory tree. That way I can stick with a system I know works, and keep a .com domain in case I ever need to sell ads.
I don't know whether I'll tell the ISP to drop nibelung.org or just let it map silently to impudence.com - assuming they ever get it working again!
It doesn't work perfectly with IE, I'm told (I don't have IE anywhere), and several sites with Badly Behaved Javascript (among others, nearly everything on Geocities) produce a popup error which is Not My Fault (I don't even use JScript) but makes me look bad nonetheless. These are the bugs so far.
Ignore my tantrum and have another look. It really is a nice bit of code.
Tomorrow, I promise a postcard that has nothing to do with webrings.
