thirty march (albeit early) freshly mixed words OK. Lurking in various places, for your delectation, we have the following: A new Clio essay, on the Jewish calendar (5000 words! And even so I left out a lot of fun stuff), plus a page of correspondence Clio has received. Both of those can be found in Clio's section. Unwritten links are disabled now so that you won't get confused (yes, they were supposed to be that way last week, but I goofed). A new section called the VAULT, which is explained therein and contains lots and lots of old material to read. Two smutty stories - well, maybe they're not stories - which are part of a new project. This one's not linked to the top page yet; unlike Clio, I'm not going to do that until it's completely finished. (Note: if you don't care for mild kinkiness, pass this paragraph by. Thank you.) I know it seems like I'm spreading myself thin again, but I can only write what I'm in the mood to write, and right now those projects are it. I've cleverly designed them so that they have ideas laid out in advance; when I need a break from other things, I can pick one of these predetermined topics and switch gears for a while. The flip side of that is that sometimes they may not get updated for a while. Hey, go read the Vault if you're bored. - - - All that, and you want a postcard too? Goodness, you're demanding. OK. I bought three CDs this weekend, for the first time in several months. Fatboy Slim, the first Garbage CD (I already have the second), and the soundtrack for Hedwig and the Angry Inch. (Those who know my personality and the plot of that show will probably not be surprised at that purchase.) I am astonished that Nonelvis likes Fatboy Slim. Nonelvis is astonished that Fatboy Slim used to be in the Housemartins. His current music is about as far from the Housemartins as you can get. The Lush verdict is in. Bath melts aren't worth the effort - tried three different ones, was unimpressed. Bath bombs can be really good or ho-hum. If I order more, they will probably be only "Butterballs." Those make me sleepy, which is desirable in a bath. I take baths just before bed, to relax. I wished for one last night - I didn't sleep until 5 a.m. and work today was a bust. I have determined that I don't like things which strew flower petals or other bits all over my bath water. Ambrosia, their shaving cream (and it's really a cream - you don't lather it) is absolutely fantastic. I haven't had razor burn once since I started using it. Soon I will try it on other areas besides my face. Their moisturizers are very nice too. I didn't try any shampoos. So I'll give Lush at least a fifty percent. I still think they're gimmicky, and their copy is purest treacle, but I'd buy from them again, which I suppose is the test that counts. Now go read Clio.
